The above cartoon was created by Bernhard Gillam. This cartoon was published in THE PUCK magazine in 1833. The two people behind the publishing of this cartoon in that magazine were Keppler and Schwarzman.
This cartoon shows how the inequalities prevailed from the “Gilded Age”. The Gilded Age was where between 1870-1900, America experienced the era of a large scale of rapid economy growth. in this era of America, a very small amount of leading businessmen, which is 1% of the population, owned the vast majority of the nation’s wealth.
